Panama Hatters is a company that has decided to focus heavily on an "Eco-social and Eco-sustainable" project, where recycling and craftsmanship are king. The leaves left over during the processing of our Panama hats are in fact regenerated to create unique accessories such as our "flip flops": this is just one of the examples of how our reality operates and what our philosophy is. We work shoulder to shoulder with the local Panama hat weavers (Ecuador), supporting them by purchasing part of their production at a fixed price, regardless of the hat model. It is essential to underline that Panama Hatters is collaborating and helping with its sales to lay the foundations for a new commercial project in the Simon Bolivar region, thanks to which we can proudly say that we are contributing to the economic recovery of the country.

The realization of the Panama Hippie model has already been operational since 2000 in a "special" project to facilitate the manufacture of Panama hats on the Santa Elena peninsula, southwest of Ecuador. To date we are helping around 350 men and women in 15 villages that produce hats for our Partners and our Company. Through the sale of our items all over the world, we help and increase employment in the rural sector on the west coast of Ecuador, preserving our Italian artisans and artists to keep their creativity alive thanks to the lines of personalized Panama hats "Best Friend. ”And“ Football Club ”, which include customizations and paintings made on the Panama itself.
